Riding the Waves of Life

Everything is different And I don't like it There's an empty feeling And I can't quite place it Hearts are growing colder and I'm slipping further  Into the cracks of the empty roads I want to dance on top of the highest tree Stretch out my hands and touch the stars staring down at me I want to play my guitar until my fingers bleed Drink margaritas for an entire week Just to change this feeling from under me ~PD

Sometimes you have to withdraw from the world to disentangle yourself To a place that always astounds Where truth can be found The place where you can pick up your long lost dream and start again ~PD

Nestled under the warm blankets I stare at the view outside my window Transfixed by the movement of the trees  I watch as they sway effortlessly and take up their dance with the light breeze  I find myself in a peaceful, hypnotic state A calm, comforting cacoon Where for a moment my cares are swept away with the healing whispering wind To a place I never want to wake from  The place we all long to be ~PD #freedom #carefree #freespirit #zerocares #soulfood

She found happiness in peculiar spaces Beauty in despondent faces Amidst the chaotic pulse of life 

Listen closely to the sound of the rain and the absolution that it brings Every bead dancing its way down from the damp night sky Creating its own rhythmic song  Cleansing the soul As it washes away the sinful impurities with every droplet
